Dream: QAF plot
Jul. 2nd, 2005 09:08 amI had a dream that was supposed to be a Queer as Folk episode. This was while I was on vacation and hoping QAF was recording at home so I could go back to it (when, sadly, the recording was botched and I had to stop during the season).
In the dream, Mikey and Ben got married again in the US this time and they adopt a daughter. There was some court case with a bad, abusive man and custody was given to a woman (this is really vague- I don't really understand it now but it made sense then!)
Melanie and Lindsey got remarried. Both wore white top and slacks but as Linds was waiting a marching band came in to play to her (Mel had arranged it, resembling a certain movie I love).
Babylon was not pulling a profit. Brian went blond for some terrible, reason (something about being too "black"). He got Harmony from Angel the series as an assistant and asked for a meeting to help create a better atmosphere at the club. He nudged a guy sitting in the front about color. The guy got all inspired and created a new Babylon that looked like a regal, upscale palace (on crack): purple glass ceilings, tables, men in suits. The camera swept over to the back room where a guy is being spanked by a flower paddle.
There was a "woman" in the dream who was not following the script properly, reading her name along with the lines. She was dressed as a lion from the chronicles of narnia.
Justin and the designer explain the "plastic" concept to Brian. It's this big bubble-like suite one can wear. It lets you feel like you're having sex with anyone else in the place. I believe he tried it out but I woke up mid-sex scene.
